Deal 3 cards face down to each player.

Turn over one card for the starting value in the Discard pile. (If it is not a number card, choose another card.)

Player to the left of the dealer plays a card and adds the value OR plays a Direction card. (Playing a Direction card does not change the running total for the next player.) Play continues in the same direction.

After playing a card, players should draw a new card from the Draw pile. If players forget, they can draw anytime without penalty.

When the Draw pile is used up, leave the top card from the Discard Pile visible and shuffle the remaining cards for a new Draw Pile.

When players cannot play a card without going over the limit, they say “Too Much!” and stop playing that round.  The remaining players may continue until one winner remains, OR they may begin a new round with all players.
